shirley and me used to do lots of meet up like this during our off days in singapore when she was still flying. i miss those times when we will just meet up during the weekdays in the noon, do our shoppings and had our meals while everyone else is working their ass off. this is one of the perks of being a cabin crew. our off days are really off days, there are no need to work overtime or bring our work home. basically, just slack and do nothing. whahaa...
anyway , back to the main focus of this post. a week back, i met up with shirley and lynette for brunch at plain cafe. this is one cafe that all of us have never been , and the review of the place seems pretty okay. so we decided to give that place a try.
at first,the place was packed with people when we reached. we were quite shocked to see so many people but i guess lunch crowd in tanjong pagar area is such during weekdays.
they only have one main menu that is pinned to the wall. pretty inconvenient for us to look at the menu when there are actually people seated right in front of the menu. it is as though we are staring at those people sitting there. they looked pretty uncomfortable as well cause everyone is looking at their direction!
i ordered the hot chocolate and shirley ordered cafe latte. pretty good. i love the hot chocolate.
i had the darling's eggs. it is simple. just poached eggs over the toast with ham, cheese and tomatoes.
