i was fortunate enough to have someone on my flight to bombay who was kind enough to let us tag along with her to an orphanage near our hotel. the trip to the orphanage was so emotional that i almost tear, seeing the conditions of the environment that the kids are living in just make my heartache. little gestures from us like buying them sweets, taking pictures with them already made their day.
the time that i spent at the orphanage instantly lifted up my mood, makes me feel so so much better about the life i have now, and am so thankful of it. sometimes, we really need to take a step back from our life and go to places like this to let us realize that relationship problems, stress from work and other setbacks we have in our life is nothing compared to what these kids have to go through merely just for survival.
we should be very thankful of what we have now.. .. there are worst things happening to other people around the world.

Day 2 : Platinum mall, Asiatique and Route 66
the second day in bkk was packed with lots of activities. i think we are  just too crazy to want to visit so many places in one day. we were so beat at the end of the night.

i looked so happy lol. cause i am eating my fav corn! haha

and the shopping starts... i managed to get most of my loots here... i guess this is still the best place to shop cos it has got air con!! haha




this is so cute right. the displays in one of the shop and they sell pretty cheap clothing like 100 bhat per piece.


then after the shopping , baby shirley brought me to try this famous wanton noodles near the mall. i must say it is really good, but the portion is really small . i think i can like have 3 bowls of it.lol.

and u can choose to have crabmeat in it.



then at night, we headed to Asiatique for dinner. it was my first time there after hearing so much about it. there are some pretty cool small shops and restaurants in Asiatique, nice little place to explore. The place is good for a relaxing evening, listening to live band and have some wine and food. :)

we had our dinner at checkmate because they have got live band!












then we headed back to hotel and get changed for party on a monday night!

Partying in bkk is just so fun! Beautiful ppl, great music, plentiful of boozes and mad dancing! the night where i forgot all the troubles. just for one night.
thank you baby shirley for being so sweet throughout my time in bkk. :) hehe

The Land of Smiles - Part one ( Instagram photos )

i had a short trip to bangkok last week, to meet up with baby shirley cause she is there for freaking 10days. The stay was tooooo short for me, didn't really get to buy much but the time was well spent! :) we managed to cover Chatuchak market,Platinum mall, Asiatique and route 66 during my two nights stay there. we are awesome or what. lol.

i had quite an "eventful" day on the day i flew to bangkok. i missed my flight to bangkok, forgot my precious camera (cannot believe it that i actually forgot my camera on a holiday)!!!!, and had quite an episode with the hotel staff. but nevertheless, i managed to have mad fun there and came back safe and sound. haha.

we stayed at Ramada Encore hotel, there is nothing much around the hotel but the room is nice and comfy.i paid 140+ for two nights , pretty reasonable i guess .



Day 1 : chatuchak market
i guess i was tired from all the flights and didn't slp for more than 24hrs ,i ended up didn't buy a single thing at the market.i cannot believe it that i made all the way to the market and DID NOT see anything i fancy.
