11 days of being a semi-vegetarian!
WAHAHAHAH..i know it has ONLY been 11days since the day i stopped taking meat and fish. BUT i feel so good about it. seriously now i do not have any cravings at all for my favourite duck rice,KFC, Macdonald and some of my all time fav SUSHI(swordfish, tuna etc) . in fact, now i am happy with just eating veg, prawns, clams and cuttlefish.oh well, baby steps.. hopefully some day i can stop taking seafood totally. it will be an achievement for me. lol. and i appreciate some of my friends who accommodate my change of diet by not eating meat as well when dining with me. really "gan dong" (meaning i am touched).haha
anyway i found more articles about turning vegetarian. hope it benefits you (those who been reading my blog) :)
in particularly, i found this veg starter guide prepared by the international vegetarian union. i think they put up a really useful guide. i print screen parts of the guide that impact me the most.

This guide also includes information about what happen to the livestock and fishes (how they are breed and slaughter) that we have been consuming day in and out. didn't wanna post it here because i know not everyone wants to know the ugly truth of these animals' living conditions.
then i found this paragraph written by a singaporean. hope it makes u think twice before u thought of eating shark fins again.
been eating more salads lately. :) hehe hopefully can really lose weight as well. lol.
